  2. Import Country Ban: Adult products are prohibited from being shipped to Islamic countries.
  3. Export Country Trade Restrictions: Drones, cigarettes, military reserves, and other controlled goods are subject to export restrictions.

  • Firearms: Examples include: handguns, rifles, submachine guns, riot control guns, air guns, hunting guns, sports guns, tranquilizer injection guns, BB guns, sights (red dot, holographic), scopes, firearms (including replicas and major components), tear gas guns shaped like firearms, simulated weapons, gun-shaped keychains, glass items resembling firearms, suspected firearm accessories without firing mechanisms, or any item that appears as a firearm or weapon under X-ray (e.g., keychains).

Flammable Substances

  • Flammable Solids: Examples: red phosphorus, sulfur, aluminum powder, flash powder, solid alcohol, magnesium rods, activated carbon, coal, matches, lighters, igniters.
  • Self-igniting Substances: Examples: yellow phosphorus, white phosphorus, nitrocellulose (including film), titanium powder.
  • Water-reactive Substances: Examples: metallic sodium, potassium, lithium, zinc powder, calcium carbide, cyanides.

Flammable Liquids

  • Oil-based: Examples: gasoline, diesel, kerosene, tung oil, acetone, ether, paint, raw lacquer, benzene, alcohol, turpentine.
  • Consumer Goods: Examples: massage oils, perfumes, insecticide sprays, air fresheners, touch-up pens.

Flammable Gases

  • Flammable Gases: Examples: hydrogen, methane, ethane, butane, natural gas, LPG, ethylene, propylene, acetylene.
  • Oxidizing Gases: Examples: compressed oxygen, nitrogen, helium, aerosols.

Explosive Items

  • Gas-filled items : For example, swimming wristbands, compressed gas cylinders, meteorological bottles, small steel gas bottles, and inflated air-filled products.
  • Compressed items : For example, dry ice, fire extinguishers, gas storage tanks, inflatable spheres, life-saving devices, automobile airbags prone to detonation, aerosols, gas cartridges, etc. Examples also include propellants, gunpowder, nitrocellulose, electric igniters, and airbags containing explosives.

Compressed Containers

Examples include: small gas cylinders for mechanical prosthetics, life jackets, life vests, avalanche rescue backpacks, small gas cylinders for other devices, sealed CO₂ cartridges, nitrous oxide bottles (N₂O), foaming agents, aerosols, mousse sprays, diving air tanks, sunscreen sprays, hair sprays containing hydrocarbon gases, curling irons with gas cartridges, mist sprayers, dispensers, and compressed gas canisters.

🚬 Tobacco Products

E.g., tobacco leaves, finished cigarettes, e-cigarette liquids, vaporizers.

🐾 Animal & Plant Products

Animal Products

Examples include endangered and precious animals and plants (including specimens), as well as their seeds and propagation materials, ivory and its products, tiger bones and their derivatives, rhino horns and their products, etc.

Plant Products

All non-inactivated plants, seeds, decorative grasses, unsterilized wooden products.

Controlled Knives

I. Any article that meets any of the following criteria may be identified as a controlled bladed weapon:

  1. Dagger : A single-edged, double-edged, or multi-edged pointed blade with a handle, guard (crosspiece), and blood groove, with a tip angle of less than 60 degrees.
  2. Three-edged scraper : A three-bladed tool used for machining purposes.
  3. Spring-assisted knife (switchblade) : A folding knife whose blade can be automatically deployed or opened by a spring or locking mechanism inside the handle and can be locked into place when extended.
  4. Other similar single-edged, double-edged, or three-edged pointed knives : Blades with a tip angle of less than 60 degrees and a blade length exceeding 150 millimeters, including various single-edged, double-edged, or multi-edged knives.
  5. Other single-edged, double-edged, or multi-edged knives : Blades with a tip angle greater than 60 degrees and a blade length exceeding 220 millimeters.

For ethnic minorities , the standards for identifying controlled blades such as Tibetan knives, waist knives, boot knives, and cavalry sabers shall be formulated by public security authorities at the autonomous region, autonomous prefecture, or autonomous county level in accordance with this standard.

Drugs, narcotics, and psychotropic substances:

Examples include opium (including poppy husks, flowers, buds, and leaves), morphine, heroin, cocaine, cannabis, methamphetamine (crystal meth), ketamine, mephedrone, amphetamine, and aminorex.

Precursor chemicals used in drug production:

Examples include piperonal, safrole, sassafras oil, ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, hydroxylamine, phenylacetone, phenylacetic acid, bromopropiophenone, acetic anhydride, toluene, acetone, and others.

Foreign Currency & Securities

For example, foreign currency, negotiable securities, postage stamps, counterfeit or altered currency, commemorative coins, imitation paper currency, etc.

Illegal-use Items

Items harmful to China's political, economic, cultural, or moral interests, including content that is reactionary, incites ethnic hatred, undermines national unity or social stability, promotes cults or religious extremism, or contains obscene material.

Examples include printed materials, film rolls, photographs, records, movies, audio tapes, video tapes, laser discs, hard drives, computer storage media, and other items containing such content, as well as tools intended for illegal use (such as burglary tools, lock-picking devices, and bank card duplicators).

Official Documents & Seals

For example: documents, certificates, official seals, and medals issued by government agencies; identification cards, forms, permits, tickets, stamps, emblems of government or specialized institutions, and other identification documents; as well as tools, key materials, and methods used for forging or altering such documents.

Gambling Tools

Casino chips, dice, gambling devices, and other related items such as gaming tokens and betting tools.

For example, fresh fish, fresh eggs, fruits, vegetables, and frozen meats.

💼 Intellectual Property Infringing Goods

Handling: Return, destruction, or handover to police.

Penalties:

International Brands

Unauthorized use of trademarks: Adidas, Nike, Apple, car logos.

Books & Audiovisual Materials

For example: books, audiovisual products, and other items that infringe on intellectual property rights such as patents, trademarks, or copyrights; as well as printed materials, film rolls, photographs, records, movies, audio tapes, video tapes, laser discs, computer storage media, and other items that are harmful to China's political, economic, cultural, or moral interests.

🛫 Transport Safety (Restricted Goods)

Handling: Return or reroute via alternative channels.

Battery-integrated Devices

For example: cameras, mobile phones, laptops, camcorders, e-readers, watches, electric toothbrushes, electronic clocks, electric shavers, computer motherboards, and other similar devices.

Capacitor-integrated Devices

Common electronic devices contain capacitors, which play an important role in circuits such as tuning, bypassing, coupling, and filtering. Energy storage capacitors provide instant high energy startup for chips or electronic devices, such as supercapacitors (which belong to the class of electric double-layer capacitors). These capacitors have fast charging and discharging characteristics and energy storage capabilities, which is why they may be detected as charged during security checks. Capacitors are classified as miscellaneous hazardous materials under Class 9.

  • Electrical Items

External Batteries

For example: additional lithium batteries for power tools, lithium batteries for drones, nickel batteries for toys, solar panels, and lithium batteries provided with toys as accessories.

Pure Battery Items

For example: power banks (devices capable of charging externally), battery cells, battery packs, battery modules, battery systems, laptop batteries, mobile phone batteries, headphone charging cases (excluding headphones), e-cigarette charging cases (excluding e-cigarettes), phone charging cases, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), button batteries, and other similar items.

Large Lithium Batteries

For example: UN3536 energy storage boxes, UN3171 electric vehicles, mobility scooters, electric skateboards, electric scooters, unicycles, electric hoverboards, electric children's vehicles, electric wheelchairs, and other similar items.

  • Other Prohibited Items

Adult Products

Countries such as India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Thailand, South Korea, Mexico, Chile, and others do not accept shipments for certain items.

Examples include: inflatable dolls, vibrators, eggs (vibrating or otherwise), oils with obvious claims of delay, enlargement, thickening, or tightening properties, and lingerie with explicit sexual innuendos.

  • Air Freight Restrictions

Magnetic Materials

Strong magnets: For example, magnetic steel, alnico magnets, samarium-cobalt magnets, neodymium-iron-boron magnets, ferrite magnets, magnetic cores, magnets, magnetic stones, permanent magnets, rare-earth permanent magnets, magnetic rings, magnetic rods, iron cores, and other similar items.

Liquids

Examples of chemicals and related products:

Fragrances, sprays, hair dyes, softeners, styling gels, colorants, nail polish removers, dishwashing liquid, ink, fillers, cleaning agents, hyaluronic acid serum, anti-fog agents, dry cleaning agents, repair liquids, grout fillers, hand sanitizers, care liquids, pop beads, particle filters, ocean baby water beads, and marbles that expand when soaked in water, among others.

Cosmetics:

Examples include toners, body washes, makeup removers, astringents, cosmetic lotions, cosmetic gels, cosmetic serums, hair growth solutions, foundation liquids, water-based lotions, mouthwashes, watercolor paints, and other similar products.

Powders

Examples include powdered cosmetics, loose powder, pressed powder, hourglasses, chalk, glitter sand trays (educational type), cat litter drying agents, hourglasses, particle filters, eyeshadows, sandbag etching agents, educational materials, powders with unknown ingredients, ink cartridges, ink tanks, toner cartridges, and other similar items.

Pastes/Gels

Examples include eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, mascara, lip gloss, face cream, lip balm, fat-burning cream, body scrub, concealer, car wax, soap, modeling clay, paste-based paints, cosmetic serums, hair styling gels, tooth colorant pastes, exfoliating agents, nail glue, paste paints, sealing wax, floating bait balls, and other similar products.


Please note:

  1. The above list includes common prohibited/restricted items for shipping. It does not cover all prohibited/restricted items. This list is for customer reference only. For other items involved in shipping, whether they are prohibited/restricted, must be determined by evaluating the nature of the item and current applicable regulations. The final decision rests with the courier service's determination.
  2. Customers must comply with relevant laws and regulations and must not send prohibited/restricted items. If the customer violates this obligation, causing the courier service to face government enforcement, airport or port management actions, or third-party claims, the customer will bear the responsibility for compensation.
  3. If prohibited/restricted items are discovered in the shipment, the courier service reserves the right to take actions such as interception, freezing, halting transportation, returning the items to the customer, confiscating, destroying, or lawfully transferring them to relevant authorities. The customer will be notified of the handling action.
  4. If the customer disagrees with the notification of the handling action, they may submit relevant documentation to customer service within 7 days to appeal. The courier service will process the appeal and provide a response within 1 business day upon receipt of the appeal materials. If the customer fails to respond within this period, the items will be treated as agreed for destruction. If the goods are returned to the customer, the courier service will charge the applicable package handling fee. Please refer to the fee list for specific charges.
  5. All "returned items" refer to packages that the courier service has received but cannot ship back to the customer.
  6. Special note on tobacco products: If the courier service finds that the customer is shipping tobacco products (including but not limited to cigarettes, e-cigarettes, etc.), the customer's account will be closed immediately.
  7. The courier service reserves the right to update and adjust this rule, issue notifications, and add specific rules at any time.
