All of your product information is kept. The biggest difference isn't the look, it's the data: the new site connects ERP, B2B quoting, CRM, customer service and delivery, turning every visitor's needs into data you can use to improve your products and your business.
The site will be redesigned, but looking good is only the starting point. The website is the storefront; the data behind it is what counts. An ordinary website is an online business card. The new site is a customer acquisition and operations system connected to your factory.
For business customers (B2B)
- Online inquiries and B2B quotes: distributors, retailers, hospitality businesses and corporate buyers can submit purchase requests on the site and get a quote generated by the system.
- Every lead captured in CRM: who visited, what they asked and how much they need are all recorded, and we follow up by email to turn inquiries into orders.
- Customer service on your phone: website inquiries can be answered directly from a mobile phone, so no order slips through.
For retail customers (B2C)
- Online ordering and payment.
- Shipping and delivery integration: shipping is calculated in real time from the customer's address at checkout (courier or local delivery) and paid with the order.
- Orders printed straight at the factory: pick lists and packing slips print automatically as orders come in, so goods are packed and ready when the courier arrives. You can also connect in-store point of sale (POS), so online and offline share one set of orders and stock.
Integrated on demand, so you only get what you use. You choose which of these features to connect. Many are built on mature modules that come with Odoo (such as POS checkout, order printing and product reviews), and integration modules already built for other clients can be reused, so you go live faster and at lower cost.
The part you don't see, and the most valuable
- Connected to your ERP system: website orders, inventory, purchasing and production share one set of data, with no manual re-entry.
- Personalized recommendations for every visitor: each visitor sees suggestions based on what they have browsed and bought, lifting conversion and order value.
- Visitor behavior analytics: see what people browse and search for, and where they give up. This feeds sales and inventory forecasting and stock planning, and guides your marketing message, SEO topics and which audiences your video ads should reach (see data-driven product selection, pricing and small-batch testing).
- Product reviews: collect genuine buyer reviews to improve products and show new visitors your reputation.
Working back from website data to product improvements
The website never shows core details such as recipes, materials or production processes, but those can later be kept in the ERP. By combining visitor behavior and reviews with the process data in the ERP, you can work out how a product should change: adjusting materials or proportions, changing sizes or styles, or switching pack sizes. That used to depend on the factory's most experienced hands reading the numbers. Now AI can draft an improvement report first, and the owner reads it and decides whether to make the change. This comes in a later phase, once website and ERP data have built up.
For consumer goods factories (food, apparel, homewares, personal care and more), the most fundamental advantage is keeping up with what customers want: understanding the market and understanding the customer. Everything about the new site is designed to keep capturing customer demand and keep improving products. That is what sets it apart from an ordinary website.
